There's a Jew in the NHL!

Oh happy day! Wonderful news everybody and just in time for Yom Kippur. By the way, if you're wondering if I fasted, the answer is I ate pork and eggs for breakfast. Today I learned via tmcroissant of reddit that there's a member of the Tribe in the NHL.

His name is Michael Cammalleri and according to my good friend Nick, a die hard Islanders/hockey fan that I'll be mentioning frequently on the blog, he's "solid". Thanks for the hard hitting (get it, because it's a hockey blog!?!) analysis, Nick.

On another note, my dad is screaming at me to come up for break fast dinner. For those of you who aren't Jewish, unlike me and my main main Mike, we're supposed to have a dinner after fasting all day for Yom Kippur which is a miserable holiday with music at temple that sounds like something out of a Hitchcock movie.

Then at 8:00, the Isles.

  1. As some other redditors pointed out I forgot a few more, like Halpern on Washington, etc. But Cammalleri is definitely the best Jew in the NHL (arguably all sports). Happy Yom Kippur and Godspeed in your quest into hockey.
